Bamboo Rafting

Join our Bamboo Rafting Tour that will take you back in time to the day when the Mae Win river was an important route of transportation. Bamboo rafting is a great way to cool off, and have an ultimate relaxing experience!. This trip takes place very close to the lodge so little driving is involved. You can start this tour anytime between 0900 and 1500. Take your bathing suit because you might get wet! We will transfer you to the nearby River only a few of kilometers away from the lodge. The rafting trip lasts about one to two hours.

Jungle Trekking

The Jungle Trekking Tour is a half-day jungle experience in a less visited part of beautiful Karen villages. Your guide will pick you up at Karen Eco Lodge at 13:00 for your half day Mae Wang National Park Jungle Trekking Tour. You will be one of very few visitors to feel the local experiences from local villages.

Elephant Caring & Mahout Training

The Elephant Caring & Mahout Training experience is a heartwarming meeting with one of most impressive and friendly animals in Thailand, Elephant. There are many of Asian elephant, from baby to adult. Some of them have worked in tourism for a number of years but is now retired. Elephants are a part of Thailand’s natural and cultural heritage. Elephants are found in the wild in national parks and in wildlife conservation areas throughout the country, including the elephants in the area. You will enjoy to live with the beautiful creature and understand why the elephants representing the symbol of Thailand.

Rice Farming

The cultivation of rice has, over the centuries, shaped the landscapes, cultures, languages and characters of Asian peoples. Many believe that the Thais were the first to cultivate rice, and the first to focus on the suitability of land for such cultivation when selecting land on which to settle. However, Karen Eco Lodge provide the demonstration process to produce rice in Northern Thailand, Guests will understand the difficulty of rice production.
